con_gameMsgWindow1FadeInTime "0.25"

con_gameMsgWindow1ScrollTime "0.25"

//This one is important, it must be set right away

Those are the game settings for the messages that show up in game( remember iPrintln and iPrintlnBold? ). 0 is the messages for the lower left, and 1 is the messages in the middle. Well for this menu we're going to use the middle one( iPrinlnBold ). It still has that annoying UnknownCMD though but hey its stealth. So use these to create a menu. Heres mine(skip to 0:35):

no did you look at the cvars? They say fadeouttime, fadeintime, and scrolltime. :p I used the rendering cvars for the background (all the "r_" ones)

maybe, I was going to use those cvars to make transitions but I haven't worked on it lately

well whatever u did its cool and keep up the good work and will we see a release or is it going to stay private?

Someone may of tried this already but, there is are a set of dvars in COD4 to turn off many errors like unknown command. It helped me with similar errors in Zombieland. (The unlocalized error, and others) I wonder if it will work for unknown command in MW2. If might be worth a try. This is the gsc version of the dvars you have to change it cfg.

    self setClientDvars("loc_warnings","0","loc_warningsAsErrors","0","cg_errordecay","1","con_errormessagetime","0","uiscript_debug","0");


If the dvar to turn off that particular error is not here, or if it is a different dvar for MW2, one may out there.

what about r_ignore? that ignores unknowns in debugging

i tried it sort of works but its really hard to c wivout the r_ cvars and it oom's if u try and change any control settings so.......

well idk what you did mine works smoothly, and nahh.

and actually the other message menu is more opaque than this one so..

I made a menu out of this, i wrote it from scratch i love it it looks like a 1.11 patch. If anyone is interested in it i can send it to them.
