Hacks/hackers don't make the game. The game was popular before it even released. Popular doesn't necessarily mean it's good. Something can be popular, but bad at the same time. With or without hackers, it is still one of the most popular games. You don't have an option for "Hacks/hackers don't effect popularity" so I'm not going to vote.

Well since about 10,000 players left BO to hack MW2, I think it would be less popular without hackers.
I dont hate hacking for 70lvl, 11 prestige, all titles and emblams and camos but hacking just to torture nice and legit players is wrong....

Fair enough, but you're saying that out of every single person in the Modern Warfare 2 community not even a small group was swayed one way or another, either to rage quit due to hacking, due to leader boards, due to repeated deaths in SnD, etc.?

Like I said, hackers don't determine the games popularity. I game can be popular, but bad at the same time. You should have asked something like "Does hackers make people want to play the game more or less?" Something along those lines. I completely agree with you, though, that hackers make people rage quit and stuff. But I don't see how people that got like all unlocks and 10th prestige effected anyone else. Wall hacks and shit though, that's annoying.
