Is it because I'm 1337
We delete our MW2 (or what ever game) patches and use wireshark or ettercap or something to sniff out how S0ny send patches to our PS3s, then from there we could use a proxy method like EM does with his patch blocker to forward all requests to/from S0ny's boxes to a file on our localhost to download the patch to our PS3s and whola?
If anyone who knows the servers like the back of their hand can you contact me if this is possible because we could use PHP for the proxy server, and I'm quite good with PHP.
@EliteMossy you seem quite good with S0ny's servers because of your bypass

you cant just randomly send info to the ps3 memory to dump what you want you 1 need to know what your trying to get and when it hits the LS then you can edit the isoldr or what ever its at during that point then dump the plain text which contains the encryption keys and even at that its not that simple it may use several encryption keys at different points of the game loading like other ppl below said buy a 3.55 ps3 it would be easier

I know it's not the whole explanation xD But the whole one would take me sooooo much time to type up. I figured that summing it up that way would catch the main points, and show that it's not easy to do. I've been following the PS3 exploiting scene for quite a while, and grabbed the 3.55 keys myself, just because I got bored. I'm a lazy bastard sometimes, though. CBA to type long paragraphs,etc. :carling:

Maybe if Kakaroto releases his jailbreak we can host again ^^.
