Of course Activision must be pretty grateful that they eventually caved into Infinity Ward's ambitions, especially considering that Call of Duty 4 sold around 14 million copies, and the follow up is looking to smash that record.

Hopefully not in hardcore mode. I actually prefer CoD5's hardcore over CoD4's. CoD4 gave it a bad name because it really is 1 shot 1 kill. In CoD5 it takes a little more to kill someone.
And no, no one can give their opinion on MW2 because it hasn't been released nor played by anyone here.

Don't get me wrong, I'll play CoD5 over CoD4, But I always suspected JD_2020 had a pussy. Btw, With all the noob friendly additions being made, I will probably play W@W over MW2.

well i do agree no has played the game so you cant say its great and will own but MW owned WaW wether anyone thinks it did it or didnt on paper it sold more it was better and on paper MW2 will sell way more then both but while i think i will like MW2 way more then WaW i still think when its all doen and i get to lvl 70 i will probably go right back MW bc MW2 is going to be for the people who suck its a noob game it wont take skill to be good plus all the guns kill people so much faster just like cod5 while this game will be good i think i will still like cod4 over cod5 and MW2

u people r stupid. the only reason cod 5 did good was because gayarch took EVRYTHING in cod4 and copy'd it. they didnt do ANYTHING themselves they just copied the whole game n put it in world war 2. if they didnt do that it woulda been another piece of SH IT like cod 3

They changed the hardcore mode thank god. CoD4's hardcore made hardcore look bad. They thought since MW was a big success maybe a WW2 version would work. They just wanted to try something new. Can everyone just stfu and not play the game if it bothers you? MW2 does looks extremely easy so be prepared to get hit by predators and a ac-130 next.

People assume too much about MW2, from a few videos and descriptions people think they know everything. I could see if people have played it but nobody has yet. In my opinion The only really good Call of Duty game was the first one, everything else thus far has been lackluster but not terrible cod5 was good enough to just be "alright" in my book and cod4 just about the same but over a longer period of time.
MW2 looks good to me looks better than all previous Call of Duty titles but I've said this about many games then come play time it's not quite what you were expecting, sometimes it's worse sometimes it's better than you were thinking so I'm keeping an open mind about MW2. It looks good, I hope it's good and I'm fairly sure IW made MW2 well balanced.
