My friends have clued me on in a e-mail they have resieved from gamestation after pre-ordering, it states that due to current postal strikes the modernwarfare copys might not be in stores on the expected date, hopefully they will be over and we can get back to happy gaming lol. I will try and get a copy of the e-mail in question and you can all see for yourself what a silly world we live in lol.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this, i shall get back to you with a copy of the e-mail in a few hours

Yes, however I cancelled my GAME pre-order and ordered from PLAY because chances are you'll get it early/earlier! :p

You do realise that the game will not go to the store by the Royal Mail. It will be delivered by there own couriers. The only thing that might be affected is you getting it in the post. The game won't reach the store until the day before release anyway.

So, you are saying that the postal strike won't effect anything, cuz what i was told was that you can't even go to the game/gamestation store to pick it up because they win't get it because of the fact they get it through the postal strike but you are saying that infinity ward are sending their own curriers??? Postal strikes were this week and are next week. It wont effect your order. Even if it does go buy it from game or some place where you can trade games back in. Then when you get the one you ordered take that one to game still sealed and get a refund SIMPLE but i know the postal strike wont effect me !

This is for England and not America. Gamestop is not available in the U.K.
