I highly doubt it that you will get it early. They will know how many copies they need to send, how many couriers they will need. I can't see them breaking the release date to being early through fear of Activision suing them (it could happen if they are going to be strict) If GAME said there was a post strike, Activision could turn round and say "so what?" If anything, with it being a courier and like you said that there will be many people that will want it, it will come on the day, or later. I highly doubt earlier. Now, if it was being delivered by the Royal mail, then you could have got it early with the store sending it out for the release day. Depending on how fast the mail was to work (Yes, I know, there are strikes but I'm speaking as though there are none) then you could have day before, like I have with games.

i always get corrier with play.com and always get my games earlier. We might not get it early but will on time as it says up graded delivery for your game to be there on the day of release
