my order now says this on game.co.uk 02/11/2009 Your credit/ debit card has been authorised and your order is now being released for packing.
Funds will not be debited until your order is shipped.
Yes, being release from processing your game is now moving along the line to get put into an envelope with your name and address. Then, it will most likely be sat in a warehouse for a few days. The warehouse where they pack could be a in different town or city, or just need transporting. They will only be doing that because they will have so many to get through, as well as other games. I can tell you are about 14, really I can.
And when you get an email saying your order has been shipped, that means it is now in the hands of the courier they are using. That also means that it will get taken from one depot in one town, to another depot in another town all the way up England. Then from the depot near your town, it will be sat in there processing until most likely the day before release day, which will then set of early morning on the 10th and arrive at your house during the day.
The process of sending out a game isn't as simple as putting it on a conveyor belt, get it processed (taking the item off their system as 1 less in their stock, making sure you have sufficient funds in your bank, checking your details are correct etc) get it packed and sent of straight and directly to your house.
