I'm a drop shotter, and I hate when people move from left to right while they shoot, so that might be a drop shotters weakness.
To use drop shotting method, switch your button layout to tactical. At first you wont use it good, so you have to remember to drop shot all the time when you shoot (you do this to get accustom to drop shotting), then sooner or later, it will be an instinct to drop shot.

a tip on dropshotting is to have your button layout on tactical so you can move your right joystick while your "dropping"

Yeap, thats right. A weakness against dropshotting is when people move left to right.

I suggest knifing... Drop shotters tend to only drop when they're close. & MW2 is really good & fast with knives. on W@W I only knifed when I snuck up on someone... Now I knife like crazy. So if their within a certain distance jump diagonal & knife. or If they're in your face just knife. Be warned though, Most drop shotters are smart enough to knife if you get to close for them to turn.

if you dropshot the right way then you wont shoot into the floor. most of the time you should hipfire the dropshot and only click the button not click and push forward. experiment in private matches and practice makes perfect

move left n right n spray. i usually get hate messages like OMG N00B. funny though coz you just say back "aww you goin through nooberty"... funny though

good tips, but im a pro dropshotter lol, i drop shot with normal layout and even can aim at the enemy not shoot from hip lol.
