see now im really good at knifing, (i got a 32 killstreak mostly knifing) so im used to pressing R3 to knife. i have tried dropshooting and when i try i am pretty good at it, but im still used to knifing with R3 so when i try to knife in tactical layout i epicly fail cuz i have to think about hitting circle to knife, lol

F**k dropshotting, I move left to right :p. I have been doing it since Cod4, and by now I have mastered my aim, so I am always aiming at the person even while moving. I tried dropshotting for a while in WaW, but with tactical, I just crouched when I wanted to Melee, so it pissed me off and a gave up on it.

i am a very effective dropshotter to and if you can aim when dropshoting there is very little you can do but i would agree with you if your shooting from hip, it depends how close you are to the enemy, if you have been shoot a couple times while they have droped to the floor now, you can do bascially nothing but if your like some that drop shot and then shoot then just do what you said.
