(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is it really worth prestiging? Apart from a few funky callsigns, there doesn't seem to be a good reason for me to lose all my weapons camos at attachment. Thoughts...

Going into prestige keeps the game new and gives you a personal challenge. Instead of keeping your guns, you start over and prove you can still rape with the noob guns. Lvl 70's are just worried about keeping their "precious colors" on their guns. With prestige you get new callsigns, challenges and more respect; not because of how high of a rank but that you didn't "bitch out". I know people who absolutely hate people who don't prestige and I can't say I disagree, they reach level seventy and know that they'll get ****ed up in the first few ranks without their guns.
God I wrote that like an essay X_X damned school.

Who do we need to prove ourselves to? my family does not care what prestige I am my friends don't either.

So who is there to prove ourselves to strangers kinda sad if you care what random people online think. Also there are no bad weapons in mw2 they all kick ass so starting at default is not harder. prestige is a joke and half cheated to get it so it means nothing

Do a barrel roll!
I think its pointless. You get extra slots to create a class, oh boy. You get some call signs that show off the fact that you play the game 24/7, oh boy. You get a dopey icon whatever to show you prestiged, oh boy. You loose all your weapons, all your challenges, and so on. That SUCKS.

You dont need to prestige to be good. Ive played so many 10th prestiges in COD4 that SUCKED. Anybody can prestige. All you have to do is play the game a lot. Its not impossible to level up, even the worst player in the world can.

Im sticking at 70 no prestige. Keeping my guns. Im going to unlock EVERY challenge, get all that junk. After that im just going to work on getting my rank up in the leaderboards.Thats the true display of how good you are, not a prestige.

That's the definition of a true player.

Got to admit your right to a certain degree there, however im going to prestige all the way (if i can and have the time to) i come first just using a tac knife 9 out of 10 games, coming first without firing a single shot is the definition of true skill, especially on the bigger maps like wasteland and afgan, without camping, against rank 70 players

id like to make a point that people who dont play 24/7, dont boost and dont camp and still get to high prestige, do deserve some recognition, however finding a person who didnt use any of the above is also very rare

What is the full list of rewards when you prestige? I heard that you can use 4 KS rewards at 5th prestige and 5 at 10th prestige Not Happy or Sad

I prestiged was not going to but the prestige FAL title is nicer stupid reason I know. Losing weapons honestly does not matter and got alot of my pro perks back already. kds fine went up actually and leveling does seem easier. but unless you want a certain title there is no point.

I agree with this also, but after completing all the challenges, I think I'm going go for prestige. I just want to complete everything now so it's out of the way and worry about the prestige challenges afterwards. It might take a while, but I don't care. I have all the guns, I can switch at any time and completely own every match because all my perks are pro (except SitRep....1/120 for now :P)

What's pissing me off is that about 14 times now I've been a kill away from getting a nuke, and it's always the same fricking story about how I just miss it...either some n00b comes into my spot and starts moving around showcasing where people might be, and we both get lit up, or some random upchuck grenade that has that "magical curve" to my position and bounces my way. seriously, if some of these grenade chuckers could be major league pitchers....omg, nobody would ever hit a homerun again.

that's contradictory. since you don't get certain titles unless you prestige.
