I would recommend getting into the first prestige and doing all the challeneges on that one before going up again. All of the weapons you can do two challenges at once for the kills and headshots while in prestige.
The thing is, I have a lot of the challenges completed already in the non-prestige set that would be the same across the board. I don't want to get them reset now. I'll focus on the prestige challenges when I enter prestige and say F the rest because I already got them before. I'm talking all the current killstreak awards (like dropping 1000 or 10000 total crates via sentry gun, airdrop or emergency drop for example). So long as I practice with all basic sets before I enter prestige, the challenge won't be there, and I'll know exactly what to do if I want to level quickly.
It's a double edge sword situation, but in some cases people just might want to prestige early because the challenges make it easier to gain exp. However, you're losing all the progress on uncompleted challenges once you prestige. So for now, I'll just keep what I got until there's no, or barely any challenges left. (like some of the really insane out of the blue challenges that are the bottom of the lists for example "How the ?"...shoot explosive through wall to kill enemy) One thing is for sure, the only tactical advantage you get to prestiging is experience by force, rather then choice.
