(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just out of interest, how many of you snipers who mainly quickscope have a dot or any other mark on your TV screens directly in the middle, for more accurate quickscoping?

Also, I haven't been able to get on today to test, but last night while playing domination I was mucking about with Intervention, tapping L1 quickly to aim, and shooting just before it went fully into the scope.

In the couple of games I was in doing this there seemed to be some auto aim with the way I was scoping in because I was hitting all of the quickscopes I was doing across the map on maps like Highrise.

Anyone else noticed this?

All of you lot try my way of scoping in, I got some insane shots last night doing it, one in a million that they would hit. XD

*edit* Be very careful what you put on your screen! It could leave a permanent mark.

Try electrical tape on a non lcd/plasma tv. If you have lcd or plasma use any method at your own risk.

I have LCD and I used electrical tape to make a dot, just scope up, hold your breath and put the dot on the center of your cross hairs and boom your dead center!

If you are using tape on a LCD remove it every time you are done playing or half way through if you are playing for long periods of time as the heat from the screen will leave a adhesive residue on your TV

K, i've been trying to master quickscoping for a while now.

I have a mate, not sure how many of you know him but RiChYsNiPeR.
Best sniper i've ever seen. Snipes in S& quickscoping and to this day i've only ever seen him miss a couple of shots at very long range.

He's played since COD3 though so by COD8 i'm hoping to never miss a shot. XD

I don't and I own practically everyone. Simples.

some guns don't line up with the dot like the raffica btw

Fusion is right, nothing beats good ol' practice!

This trick is helpful but don't be come reliant on it. Practice Practice Practice!

Also, if you want to become better at quick scoping on MW2, become epic on COD4.

It's possible isn't it? Saying that it's more than likely. Think about it, treyarch are making the next one as we speak. If I remember rightly they we're taking about using a third company making COD. So they ain't going to let another company in if there's no other game coming out.
