I thought this might help because with all the weapons, attatchments and porks out there I myself find it confusing at times to come up with something solid. So anyways, here are 5 classes that I have found to be very effective in non hardcore game modes.

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT PLEASE DON'T FLAME. PUT TOGETHER CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM PLEASE.

Class one: I use this to rush often, but it can also be used for defence as well.
Primary: TAR-21 w/silencer
Secondary: M..... (can't remember) Raffica
Equipment: Semtex
Spec. Grenade: Stun/Flash (I find stun better because the animation is quicker)
Perk 1: Sleight of hand (preferably pro)
Perk 2: Stopping power
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Death streak: Painkiller

Class 2: My trusty sniper, this is by far my favourite class, even with it's simplicity.
Primary: intervention (orr barrett) w/ FMJ
Secondary: USP 45. Akimbo
Equipment: Tactical insertion/semtex (depending whether you camp or rush)
Spec. Grenade: Stun/ Flash
Perk 1: Marathon/Sleight of hand
Perk 2: Stopping power
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Death streak: Painkiller

Class 3: All purpose gunning.
Primary: ACR w/ holographic OR silencer
Secondary: USP 45. Akimbo
Equipment: Semtex
Spec. Grenade: stun/ flash
Perk 1: Scavenger (preferably pro)
Perk 2: Stopping power/ Hardline
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Death streak: last stand

Class 4: Camp setup. May be good for getting a nuke also. (yes a bit nooby but it's effective)
Primary: FAMAS w/ silencer
Secondary: Striker w/ red dot
Equipment: Claymore
Spec. Grenade: Stun/Flash
Perk 1: Scavenger pro (virtually unlimited claymores sound good?)
Perk 2: Stopping power/ Cold blooded (CB mainly for nuke setup)
Perk 3: Ninja pro
Death streak: Martyrdom

Class 5: A very effective class for search and destroy, I've found.
Primary: UMP 45. w/ Silencer and holographic sight
Secondary: M.... Raffica w/ red dot and fmj
Equipment: throwing knife/semtex
Spec. Grenade:Stun/Flash
Perk 1: Bling pro
Perk 2: Stopping power pro
Perk 3: Ninja pro
Death streak: Martyrdom

Well, there you have it. My five most effective classes. I hope this guide has somewhat helped you or given you some ideas as to some new setups to try. Please, just remember. This is my opinion, if you dissagree, please do not flame me. Instead reply with some constructive criticism as to how I could maybe improve the classes.

Equipment: Claymore

Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Cold Blooded Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Death streak: Painkiller

i just love it, when i am playing anything, and run out of intervention bullets, and i see them coming i pull out my Striker and shoot (for me it's even better not to aim because you have more time, and for some reason it's more accurate) I once got 3 guys at once

M4A1 - Red dot OR ACR - Silencer
Semtex OR Claymore
Stun
Scavenger
Stopping Power
Ninja

Search
SCAR - Heartbeat Sensor (don't rely on it because many people use ninja)
If it has good irons (like M4 or ACR) then use them, but if not use bling with a RD or Holographic.
Claymore OR Semtex
Stun
Any Perk 1
Cold Blooded (if you don't use SCAR or FAL then use Stopping power)
Ninja

i will try a few of these

Intervention with Blue Tiger and extended mags
SPAS-12 with grip
stun & claymores / throwing knives
Sleight of Hand Pro / Marathon Pro / Scavenger Pro
Stopping Power Pro
Commando Pro

This is my main class lol never use anything else

AntonioCro89: Wouldn't cold blooded on an intervention produce more hitmarkers and missed kills? I might try it and see but that's just what I would think would happen. Also, I did spend some time using the striker as a secondary for a sniper class but I didn't really like it for some reason. It's a beast gun but I don't really like it because you can't pull it out fast enough.

Psycho194: I quite often use those classes, simply beautiful

SNOGBOT98: I tried the intervention with extended mags but to me it's not really that useful on a sniper, no doubt. It's good. But just not practical. IMO it certainly does not compare to the usefullness of FMJ or thermal. Also, I do love using marathon on my sniper classes but I've been trying sleight of hand pro lately

Great to hear man. That's all I was trying to accomplish with this thread. Just trying to give people some ideas to hopefully help them with their game. Hope you keep on steamrolling the competition with the trusty FAMAS

USP Akimbo is beast. It's got alot better range and accuracy than you'd expect, big magazines, high power, and there's an unpatched glitch where if you knife with it you actually knife faster than normal, and instead of swinging the knife you stab, even if you're facing a wall. Don't believe me, try it yourself.

As long as you hit from the chest up it's a single 3 round burst for the kill. The Raffica is great if you find yourself in a tight spot. I use this class for both core and Hardcore.
