IW said they are considering putting in the M40A3 its on their twitter, its not a definate they said they are considerin all the requests for the m40a3 to come back to modern warfare. so it could be and it probally wont be in the downloadable content, maybe the update? because then some people would have it and some wont

I don't think IW would put a new gun in a DLC. It wouldn't be practical because then the DLC people would have to be put in different lobbies then the people who didn't download it, because if someone who didn't download the M40A3 picks it up in a public match, shit would go down [such as lagging out].

Proof? I can post proof of 402 saying they won't cause its stats are equal to those of another gun.

From his twitter: @hellseykun There are a lot of weapons already in the game that would have similar if not identical stats. Not sure the benefit of it.
