(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, I've been thinking, and here's what I've come up with. You Rip the game onto your PC's HardDrive, and edit the files inside (Which we already know to contain online gamedata, e.g care packeage probabilities), and copy them to a disk. We then insert MW2 normally, and start up a Single Player mission. Whilst on a SP mission you remove the disk and no prompt comes up. You then insert the hacked disk and play online!

Just a thought I'd let you guys play around with. If this is completely useless I apologize, I'm just trying to help Smile

Ok if someone could build a PS3 linux distro to run games without the checks like 360 jtags, you'll be in luck.

the multiplayer files are signed by RSA 2048 encryption its would take a normal computer years to decrypt it. its not possible unless jtaggs actually worked on ps3's. (allowed to run unsigned code) all the ports are usually blown in the making. but sp is not signed there just packed.

Ahh if anyone is actually going to rip a ps3 Waw would be a better one to rip than mw2 cause im almost positive the coop files arent signed theyre probably just packed...

Actually hacking the files on a blu-ray disk would be next to impossible, which is why you don't see any copied games sold on the black market or whatever it is lol

That is because theyre RSA signed.
But you can most certainlly copy ps3 games but the problem is getting the ps3 to read itEek

do you realize how encrypted the CD would be? And you also would have to mod the PS3, then get passed any unknown security there, then find a working EMPTY Bluray CD and actually get it playing. If you can accomplish that, you are the first person to pirate a PS3 game.
