I take NO credit for this. I was simply searching the web and found this. If there is a thread on this can some one give a link and I'll ask a mod to close?
It would appear that Activision wants us to spend our money on Co
ELITE rather than an over priced prestige edition. According to 1up.com there will be no prestige edition. Instead, MW3's hardened edition will cost 10$ more than the MW2 or Black Ops hardened editions were. The total price of MW3 and the 1 year service of CoD Elite is roughly 109.00$. So buying the hardened edition is 10$ off and get you the "Special Founder Status" on CoD Elite, plus the Steel Book Case, Animated timeline theme (for ps3 users), and a "Limited Edition" Field manual.For XBOX 360 users, A limited edition console will be released along side the game on November 8 including A MW3 skinned 320 GB(the largest XBOX HDD yet) console, Two MW3 skinned controllers, a 1 month subscription for XBOX Gold membership, and exclusive items for your avatar to wear.
On October 11 the controllers, along with a MW3 blutooth headset will be released, for 69.99$
My Opinion: The hardened edition is a good deal if you plan to get all the map packs like I do. If you are getting the game to play sigleplayer only, or do not want the mappacks, then I would suggest getting the regular edition.

@F34R The green font is because I thought black font looked to bland. I figured go with dark green because of MW3 and light green was too bright.

I just want to point out, that the major part of the hardened edition is elite. You are really paying 40 for elite instead of 50.

Sorry but your wrong. Elite has two versions: the free version and the paid for version. Hardened edition comes with a years supply of the paid version, which has a whole lot more than the free version, such as free DLC, extended theater mode and access to tournaments. And if you pre-order hardened edition you get extra things like themes and avatars. So i reckon its worth it. What could they add for Prestige edition anyway? lol

I knew there was a free edition of elite. I was referring to the paid for one.
