why is it that sniping has gone from tactical support to "quick scope or your a gay hard scoping noob"?

when i played cod4 and WAW people never complained about hard scoping because that was the normal thing to do as a sniper. to me it seems like quick scoping has not only become the normal thing to do but most of the people that do it look down on people that don't do it. i understand that it is fun to quick scope but its just idiotic to complain about someone using a sniper in its intended way.

honestly i think it has become this because of the jump in the amount of little kids that got into the cod series during mw2.
what do you guys think of it?
do you quick scope? and if so do you look down at people that sit back and snipe?

i know this is just a rant but i want to know what you guys think about how much snipping has changed in the newer cod games.

I love to hardscope in SnD but also, i love to quick scope for a little of humiliation

If I know I'm not gna get them. I hardscope, If I know I'm gonna get them I quickscope, simple as.

A good sniper Hardscopes an quickscopes, ie: anything to get the kill.

I understand where your coming from. If I join a lobby, I will quick scope the people that get too close, but if you're at a distance, or behind cover, I'm going to hard scope you. Like everyone else has said, and I'm sure you already thought this, don't listen to the people who talk shit. Nine times out of 10, their just upset because you got the kill. ;p

The reason people complain about hardscoping is as follows: 1. Quickscoping was introduced in MW2 ( I'm talking like everyone got into it.) 2. If someone is quickscoping you they feel you should quickscope back. 3. Normal gun people get mad if they get killed at all.

I tend to go with what i feel like. If there close then quickscope cos its far quicker. Medium distance most likely quickscope or drag shot. If there long range then you have to hardscope, no one can call you a noob for that because 9 times out of 10 you'll miss a long range quickscope. Normally the people that hate on you for hardscoping are little kids and people who cant snipe. Just mute them. If you killed them you killed them end of, your alive there dead.

ITS just a way to play the game people hard scope quick scope or w.e same as using the AK 74u ADS or spraying with steady aim......... just a way to play everyone is different
