well he cant get banned, and he will be able to play online, if he finds ppl to play with....
BUT once the game is out, he will get reset (the servers will be reset, restarted) but he will definetely not be banned, happened to me in MW2 and BO :y:

my store got 1 Harden Edition in yesterday for the 360 not going to lie when store manager pulled it out of the shipment my heart skipped a beat i snatched it of him and started humping lol

If u have mw3 early, if u do a scan of the ticket, other ppl can buy it before day1. soo do it if u have it! u just have to give the scan of the ticket to the shop u want (like gamestop) and they can broke the day1
