he deleted his game data utility and the save data, yet he still gets the error.

anyone else get this or know how to fix it

im having this problem 2 tired 2 copys same shit.. and its not not reading the disc for me.. it loads mw3 maps everything game starts n either i freeze or get disc error mid game on a year old system it seems more like a MW3 problem 2 me.

Hmm. It could be that because MW3 is the latest game available at the moment. Maybe your bluray can't handle it anymore...

Are you sure your PS3 is at the latest version?

he just brought a new ps3 and it works fine now. yes it was the same problem with 2 different mw3 disks

I Had This exact problem but with 360 went to the store twice and got errors then kept trying to install it to the hdd and kept getting errors then finally it worked and installed =)

i bought a new ps3 its done it twice 2day.. with a new disc? my other ps3 does it like half the time mid game i dont get it.. it loads Unc3 fine and any other game. im about 2 take the one apart n clean it c if that helps

I would say its not the console because its been happening alot and doesn't happen with new games like BF3 and so fourth
