It's not to do with connection. Everything that appears on your screen is there because the console has processed all the information needed to put it there. If the console doesn't have to process the stuff needed for theatre mode to record, it has more resources to focus on the actual game. Therefore reducing the time it takes for you console to notice things like bullet registration and where the enemy is on the map.
Was thinking that but still makes no sense.
Not a direct copy of what going on.....so doubt it would take up that much processing power to save the match information.
I believe the reason for lag not theater and it being used as a excuse for the real issue.
Which is the game having too low of QOS for host and gameplay. Along with allowing too high ping clients being played together.
