Not a direct copy of what going on.....so doubt it would take up that much processing power to save the match information.
I believe the reason for lag not theater and it being used as a excuse for the real issue.
Which is the game having too low of QOS for host and gameplay. Along with allowing too high ping clients being played together.
It's hard to say really, it depends on how it's been programmed into the game. It's probably a combination of what we've both said.
