Yeah, and my UPNP is Disabled or Something but its Not ON should i leave it like that? Im mostly a 3-4 Bars on Mw3 and Don't lag

UPNP stands for Universal Plug and Play it is basically designed to allow certainly ports to be opened dymantically if the router thinks it's safe. When you say it's disabled do you mean on your console or on your router ??? What router do you have. It will do you no harm enabling it on the router and seeing the difference. Does MW3 still have you are in strict mode ??? If it does enabeling UPNP should open the necessary ports. The advantage for this it will allow matchmaking to choose from a large selection of players which should result in a better experience.

This is for anybody else reading this, on most modern routers you should not need to manually open ports to play MW3 on an open NAT. Some ISP's for what ever reason disable it by default. If you are not using a router and just connect straight to a modern then your console is connected direct to the internet which means all ports will be open. I would not recommend this for a PC for security risks but a console is a little difference.

If anybody wants help with checking/setting their routers modems up correct please or advice on optimising their connection let me know let me know, you will be very surprised the effect of using internal telephone cable in the house does to your connection, am now then happy to help.

No don't bother with that it won't help one bit.

Here is the spec manual for your modem/router You must login or register to view this content. on the last page under NAT support it talks about DMZ. Login to your router and set your PS3 ip address as the DMZ server. Basically what this is doing is allowing all ports open to your PS3, this will solve all your problems. I would not advise this it it was a PC as basically it bypasses the firewall, but only to the PS3 anything else is as safe as it was before. You might have to learn how to assign a static IP to the PS3 as if it changes then it will be behind the fire wall. If you need any help download Teamviewer and I'll walk you through it all. Teamviewer can be found her You must login or register to view this content. you want the free edition.
