As spotted by Gamerzines, one job ad on the developer's website is for a gameplay combat designer to report to "the design director for the Call of Duty multiplayer team at Treyarch".

The studio is also seeking a scripter that may be required to take "a design test utilising Call of Duty mod tools", while other listings say the successful applicants will be working on "combat systems (such as weapons and attachments) and gameplay mechanics (such as Perks and spawning)".
Studio boss Mark Lamia told CVG last year that "Treyarch is a 100 percent Call of Duty studio", so it would be no real surprise if it's already working on - or at least planning - a follow-up to the 20 million-plus selling Co Black Ops.

That game isn't expected until 2012 though, with the combined talents of Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer and Raven said to be handling this year's franchise entry.

Kind of the opposite here, I started liking Black Ops because they banned me. I had no reason to play that shithole of a game, so the ban was actually an escape.

i enjoyed black ops too mate im sort of missing it, i had more 'fun' playing it i think its possibly better than mw3 imo so far nothing in mw3 grabbed me

As long as it's better than Black Ops, I played that for a week or 2 then went to other games then back for Zombies and just gave up on it ....

Its was all ready announced the day before mw3 came out that try arch are working on the next cod by the ceo of activision..... From Wiki "Activision CEO Bobby Kotick stated on November 8, 2011 that Call of Duty 9 (working title) was in development for a 2012 release."

Good, that means that IW will make sure that COD 10 is blown out of the water, and utterly amazing. I hope IW makes a new game entirely but a spin off of COD4-MW3. Like a continuation of the story, but not MW4.

As for Treyarch making the game...it better be ****ing modern. We already have ENOUGH WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Cold War games. We don't need another one repeating what has been done countless times now, not only by them, but by IW and countless other developers across different companies.

As for the groan, are you assuming i got banned?.. because i havn`t.. and maybe the people who didn`t like it.. actually didn`t like it? :dumb:
the hacking community is quite small and the people who got banned aren`t the majority of gamers..

COD games will always be defended by the fanboys.

i said the people who "suddenly" didn't like it, meaning the people who liked it at first or maybe wasn't sure yet, then decided not to like it.
The majority of people started to rage at black ops and treyarch after the bans were handed out.
The people who didnt like it straight away aren't included in this point... did you like it or not??

If I had said that people hated it straight away down to hacking and bans then your point would be valid, but seeing as I said suddenly then my point is fair.

As for telling me to keep sucking up to their games, I hated world at war, and have plenty of points I could moan to them about across the series.

ok both IW and treyarch need to take a step back and took a big look at what they are doing. we dont need a new game once a year. they should actually work on making changes instead of just adding new guns and maps. they should work on these games for atleast 3 - 4 years to ensure that we get a good innovative game instead of the same game every year. im not saying the games are bad, im just saying it gets boring playing the same thing over and over. if they dont make any changes im just gonna be done with the cod series. im still waiting for mw3 to go down in price because i dont think it is worth $60. i could get it for $45 but idk if i want to.

Just make a zombie game treyarch, stick to what you do best
