Well, at one time or another, Search and Destroy used to be a moderately fun gamemode where you could play with IRL friends / Online met friends,
equip yourself with your mic and have a blast.

You can run around and enjoy yourself, plant the bomb, and get on with the game.
... In the meantime, bashing your friend for making that noobie mistake, or screwing your whole team out of the win.

... Where Search and Destroy went wrong was... I would like to say MW2.
Not only did they nerf the 4 wins that you got for winning the match, which was always a favorite for me, they had also made your score go from
completely great (500/kill) to (50/kill) with the compensation of the 500/kill going towards EXP instead.

Yeah, sure, you still level greatly, but WTF, I mean, not only is S& not good for kills, it was no longer good for wins nor score!

With the added in Heartbeat Sensor, plus the ClusterF**k of Childish 12 year olds with "your mama" jokes + the whole lot of campers, it went from
an all-time favorite of mine, to a rarely played gamemode on my account.

Anyone agree?

I like to call camping a strategy in S& as long as you don't go to the same place each round and stay there the whole round.

Now the 12 year old kids and heartbeat sensor. I'm highly against those.

I stopped playing S& for two reasons, one is all the ****ing try hard 10 year olds who either camp or run around with ump45 and drop shot, and two is all the quick scoping fags, like really no one gives a shit if you get a 360 no scope, we all used to do that shit on cod4 it is ****ing annoying when the last person alive is a shit quickscoper who sucks and should get with the program...

SnD should become harder and more about the objective. So remove the radar , decrease the weapon damage. In order to win you need to plant the bomb. Redesign the maps so more flank routes and not many high traffic areas.

SnD too easy for me......and camp friendly.

i agree totally mate SnD is now full of 12 year olds trying to quickscope to get good kill cams on black ops search was my most played but i think ive played literally 3 SnD games on mw3 and it doesnt interest me im loving team defender now for some reason

I still like S& when I'm in a party. I still manage to have fun, kinda like what you said about CoD4. Maybe that's because I'm usually in Team Tac/Mosh Pit though. Regular S& still isn't that bad though, since it's actually easy to get kills with everyone thinking they're the best quickscoper ever.
