Well, at one time or another, Search and Destroy used to be a moderately fun gamemode where you could play with IRL friends / Online met friends,
equip yourself with your mic and have a blast.

You can run around and enjoy yourself, plant the bomb, and get on with the game.
... In the meantime, bashing your friend for making that noobie mistake, or screwing your whole team out of the win.

... Where Search and Destroy went wrong was... I would like to say MW2.
Not only did they nerf the 4 wins that you got for winning the match, which was always a favorite for me, they had also made your score go from
completely great (500/kill) to (50/kill) with the compensation of the 500/kill going towards EXP instead.

Yeah, sure, you still level greatly, but WTF, I mean, not only is S& not good for kills, it was no longer good for wins nor score!

With the added in Heartbeat Sensor, plus the ClusterF**k of Childish 12 year olds with "your mama" jokes + the whole lot of campers, it went from
an all-time favorite of mine, to a rarely played gamemode on my account.

Anyone agree?

yeah to me they made S& more for camping and not for rushing like mw2 and HC S& You can get team killed like Cod4 so I don't play that game mode either

Lol for real, I used to play S& with my friends in team tact, now I try to avoid that game mode as no one rushes, even if the enemy team has to plant the bomb, they still camp, making it less enjoyable. And if I rush, there is always some dude prone on the floor or humping the wall, and I die lol.

But I think after a month or two after the game's release, the gamemode will probably be better

this is exactly how i feel, i mean, i was always rushing in s&d, because my ability to camp isn't that great... i just cant do it, no matter how hard i try, i always run out (at the wrong time might i add).

and especially in this game, where (in my opinion) the assault guns / distance shooters have the upper hand more than anything ^^

I agree I I have over 300 hours of playing time in HC SnD on Black Ops because at least you didn't have to worry about team killing. I can't even play more than two games without a team killer killing the whole team in the beginning of the round anymore. What the hell were they thinking when they decided to allow that back into the game? I thought they learned from Cod4, but clearly, they did not. Infinityward gets a :n: from me in SnD in MW3.

ur right. its just not fun any more. i liked it better whn all the noobs and 12 yearolds played Halo not COD.

I stopped playing SnD after CoD 5. I still did SnD occasionally on MW2 during the MW2 and Crap Ops days, but there was too much bull shit to use it as main source of leveling up.

What Im disappointed is what you stated:

500 xp per kill but only 50 score

It makes you really low on your score leaderboard.
Im second prestige and ive got lower score then some people who havnt prestiged

Mann people either CAMP in the begining of the game to not get killed first, or CAMP after it's been planted to get a KILL CAM/DEFUSE. Either way the key word here is CAMP, I have been avoiding SEARCH in MW3 I have played it but for what if you don't play with a squad you spawn and no-one moves they just go to corners . I'll play it in MOSH PIT but that's about it, also I noticed you don't get as many points anymore it's just not worth it.
