Some easy steps! (NOTE: You must have your NAT open in your router already for this to work!!!)

1. Sign Into XBOX LIVE

2. Start COD MW3 and get to the XBOX LIVE screen (Find Match, Private Match, Create A Class, etc.)

3. Make sure your NAT is in fact Strict.

4. Unplug your router and wait 30 seconds and then plug it back in and wait another 30 seconds.

5. Go to the XBOX LIVE Dashboard.

6. Go to My XBOX> System Settings> Network Settings> (Choose your connection type)> Configure Network

7. Scroll to the right to additional settings and scroll down until you see (Restore to Factory Defaults) Then click it.

8. Then Test Your XBOX LIVE Connection! If you connect without any problems then it will be set back to open. Repeat if necessary.

9. (Only if it didn't work the first time!) > Turn your xbox off for 30 seconds and begin steps 1-8 again!

an easier way would be to do a network test under network settings resolves this problem straight

On ps3 you just put in mw2 go into a match leave then start mw3 and your Nat type should be on

or u can buy a new router e 4200 or e3000 0r e2400 amd u NAT should be open all the time i ve got the best type mine is type2 nat open
