I think the 95 is a need nerf and the akimbo fmg, the undermounts like CM109 i could care less that gun is so bad without it now..

Stillllll i wonder IF IW going to fix the other weapon bugs in the game. Hope to god they buff shotguns cos right now the striker is only good one :/

IW weapon balance this time around is pretty poor
I never understood why they think making guns worse helps "balance" more than making weaker guns better. Pretty much every SMG and Assault Rifle have an advantage and disadvantage now as long as a weapon doesn't have any disadvantage like BO's FAMAS then I don't see the need for nerfs. I mean you can't literally make all guns equal. Shotguns should be buffed. As of now there is little reason to use a shotgun when a PP90M1 or MP7 can destroy you up close. Although I do get annoyed when a shotgun guy spawns behind me spraying the Striker like a MW2 AA-12 lol.

Type 95 out classed all other guns stats wise that why it been nerfed so it less strong.
Problem is.....you need each gun to fill a role and only that role.

Within the AR group it all balanced. Apart from the type 95 which stats wise shits on all the other ARs.
ARs vs SMGs each have strong points and weak points.

Problem with most nerfs is they don't make the gun fit the role but make it useless compared to other guns. Already the guns in COD cross roles and can do pretty well in whatever. Which is why the famas was sooo good in black ops. It suited a high number of roles and killed faster then most smgs at close range.

I fail to understand why COD does not change it weapon damage model so certain guns kill in slower or faster depending on distance. So ARs 7-8 bullets vs SMGs at close range 3-5. Not keep the damage flat once it hits a certain distance.

Shotguns should get a serious buff......
As you said. I think not just in damage but range also. The map layout already goes against shotgun users. So it would be balanced. Combined with the fact you die so fast in this game.

AA12 should be given more ammo, and longer range. Damage should keep the same.
Model should be a one hit kill and have the longest range out of all the shotguns.
Spas 12 should be a one kill within it current range. Not as long as the model but long enough to have a point.
KSG12 should be given a massive damage boost and range.
USAS12 should have the longest range out of the auto shotguns. Spas 12 range along with damage which means a kill within that range.

All i know is they should be buffed so each one has a massive strong point over the others. Right now no point in using anything but the striker. The striker has loads of ammo and range. Along with power also sprays the most pellets too.

The t95 and akimbo fmg9's seriously needed some sort of nerf. It was ridiculous how many times I'd get the jump on someone, only to either be 1 shotted with the t95, or obliterated with akimbo fmg's. Hopefully they didn't go too far with the nerf like in previous games, making op weapons completely useless. Only a slight reduction for each weapon was needed. Just enough to even the balance out

they didn't ruin the gun. It's basically the same with less hipfire ability which honestly 3 burst guns aren't made for hip firing. The OP comments about Type 95 are making the gun sound more OP than it really is. If you have good accuracy it's great from medium range, good at long range and okay up close. I know it is a one trigger tap up close but if you missed you're dead not to mention lag hurts it. Compare that to SMGs or other AR up close where if you miss you can spray until you kill. Also I find drop shotting and multi kills difficult with it up close.

It's a great gun but it's not nearly as OP as people think especially since you have to have aim and quicker reactions compared to spraying and praying with other weapons. The ACR, FAD and Scar in particular are no worse than Type 95. As long as they don't nerf it again it is still a great gun...

I wouldn't doubt a nerf to SMGs with Rapid Fire is coming eventually. People fail to realize guns and perks only do so much but that's COD community. People only kill us because they camp and the guns are OP. We have never died a just death...
