to be honest all i use is pistols when ever i'm sniping...for some reason i hate machine pistols, but a good pistol like the fiveseven is way better to me

Sounds like someone has been getting owned with Machine pistols.. What's the big problem? So you're telling me if someone is using a sniper they shouldn't be able to have somewhat more of an advantage towards someone who already has an advantage? (being that you're using a automatic rifle)

i got no problem with them. i hardly ever see anyone running akimbo machine pistols unless its the fmg9's those bitches are annoying but other than that i like the mp9 with ext. mags

No. Just, no.
There is nothing wrong with akimbo because it has so many disadvantages.

1. You can't aim down sights, making them virtually useless at over 20-30ft.
2. You still start with the same amount of ammo, so when you reload, you only have enough ammo to refill one gun.
3. You cant expect everyone to be L33t QS champs, I understand, I feel you. It sucks when your going 1 on 1 with another sniper and they pull out a secondary, but nonetheless, everyone has they're own playstyle.
4. Overkill isn't a perk that too many people seriously use anyway. IMO its a campers perk, because if your rushing around, there's always another gun lying around. It is useful in some ways though, because you can have a shotgun on the side. I like having the riot shield on my back.

3) You can do that with pistols? Snipers are only supposed to have an advantage at long range; with akimbo they have long range as well as CQC weapons

Machine pistols were a dumb addition, its basically a smg on switch; it's the main reason why no one uses overkill. Hell, I'm not sure why they even brought it back. Black Ops had it right, but too many people dick-ride IW to see the obvious.

Its cause the pistols have no variety, three of them I believe have the same stats (USP,P99, FIVE-SEVEN, I know some of them have less recoil, more accuracy ,etc). Also, the desert eagle is not that great anymore compared to the other 2 cods, it does have high damage, but crazy recoil followed by low ammo.

LOL^^^^^^^ the Deagle is better akimbo than single weld in mw3. The fmg's are a little crazy but they will never take them out.
