But I've tried doing that now but I keep getting a loss but I found a new way

It is very Similar!

Instead of backing out before picking a class you need to join one of your friends session. (Press Circle) to cancel joining him.

Hmm, were you in a game already? Did you pick a class? Because I tried this more than 20x today no loss.?

Just tried it and still got a loss

How long did you stay in game? I guess it only works if you stay at least 20 seconds and leave. I'll try now and continue today.
