It is very Similar!

Instead of backing out before picking a class you need to join one of your friends session. (Press Circle) to cancel joining him.

On Xbox, i just sign out of user and sign back in, much faster / easyer. Everything that happend in the game you was in counts towards Challenges or the Leaderboard.

Steps:

1. Press Xbox Button (On Controller)
2. Press X
3. You are then disconected from the game and just sign back in.

This isn't new, so **** off.
