But I've tried doing that now but I keep getting a loss but I found a new way

It is very Similar!

Instead of backing out before picking a class you need to join one of your friends session. (Press Circle) to cancel joining him.

I don't think so, But like if you find a game and you guys are losing,
Don't Pick a Class yet and Join your Friends session and Cancel when attempting.

Yeah I noticed te old way got sorta patched and now gives you a loss
So il try this method out and report back

I been doing this. But never really checked if it counted as a lost.
