I could care less about consoles since I don't make any money off of them but there is no way this is fair. I understand the DLC deal xbl gets and I am perfectly okay with PS3 users having to wait a month. I will edit the dates of DLC for the four tiers of COD gamers when they are verified.

My thread is NOT a console debate. It's a are Activision out of their ****ing mind debate? I despise guys who do the, "Battlefield is god, COD sucks, lets rage against establishment" jargon since it's littered with bitterness and wishful thinking.

I enjoy COD. I play other games but FPS, this is my game. I have little issue with the actual game. However,Activision gets MILLIONS from Xbox 1 month exclusive deal. $60 USD per game a year from Xbox AND PS3 users. $15 USD a map pack from Xbox AND PS3 for DLC that usually comes out 3 times in that game's cycle. Now they get 49.99 USD from Elite Premium users on both consoles???? Even with the exclusive deal with MS. And the BILLIONS of dollars every console gives them,not even dedicated servers? Wow.

They were already getting money from MS and all of us buying their game and their DLC, now they find away to get MORE money from PS3/Xbox users. Yet we still don't have dedicated servers or an equal playing field? Why couldn't the month DLC deal XBL got be good enough? FML

They said monthly DLC, that doesn't mean maps necessarily. Also it's still sort of shaky anyway. Is it real a year worth of DLC if instead of giving 5 maps every 3 months, they give 2 maps every month?



I actually hope this is the case. Still sucks that we have to pay just to get maps a month after Xbox since were accustomed to being second class citizens for free :carling:

They shouldn't have that XBL contract AND Elite Premium.

1. They already said that each month the DLC would be $5 a month... totaling $60 for the year if you buy them individually.
2. Elite premium members pay $50 for the whole year.. saving them $10.
3. Hardened edition members paid $40 extra for the whole year over the regular version.. saving them $20.

Yeah it should be at the same time for each console. It that's how business works. One. Ompany offers more money and they gt the exclusive deal :/

i asked that faggit Robert Bowling on twitter when PS3 Prem dropping and he never answers me. I thought ELite Prem users get DLC every month.

Microsoft having that 1 moth DLC deal is fine. However, why would you have Elite premium if PS3 users still have to wait anyway. We essentially have to pay just to get something late that was free in the past.

If you're going to have Elite premium then shouldn't that be enough? I hope this all this money is going towards a worthy cause...

Porter this has been said plenty of times and a lot of them from me , I used to be a cod fan-boy until all the money that came from Mw2 and then they ****ed us on Black ops with no dedicated servers , making billions and I have stated how much I think this Elite crap is just in place to make more money off this franchise. The deal with Xbox was until this year so this year when the next Cod comes out , activision will send their employees on a campaign to let people know that this year everyone with elite will get the dlc at the same time ( if xbox doesn't renew their deal that is ) and millions of children will go out and buy the game and forget how activision raped them with a sandpaper condom in the past , my ass hurts after all these years of the same from activison that's why this year I am against the cod franchise in whole , there just raping everyone with a copy/paste game and a new gimmick and the lemming have all lined up and started jumping off the cliff

when cod4 was out, it was the best time for cod players, now that cod has expanded a ton of times than it was before, now they take advantage of it, what there needs to be is someone to slap some sense into the producers now and think of the fans from ALL consoles.
its the game that matters not the console you play it on.
