The majority of complaints(at times downright petty and girly) are based of guys knifing threw our bullets or "panic" knifing.

Well if you make it so the knife is powerless against bullets,the "panic knife/lunges are over.

It would still be 1 hit:
Backstabs.
Against players not shooting.(its your fault you react slower than FEMA during Katrina)

My solution was to basically make panic knifing obsolete. I didn't think the knife itself was an issue to people at all. COD has better shit they could steal from Battlefield than a knife. I'm going to start tallying how many times I get knifed in a 10 game session vs other annoying shit. Although I use Rapid Fire SMGs or Akimbo G18s or FMGs :carling: so it's harder for the enemy to knife me at close range anyway

No I generally mean people camping. I dont like mw3 let alone the idiots who camp or whatever on it...

I already tought about it but it's not gonna happen on a IW game, maybe if we spam David Vonderhaar's twitter he will put it on the next COD.

I just thought it would be an idea to stop people knifing through bullets. To be honest, the knife doestn bother me in the least. I rarely use it, and I'm rarely "panic" knifed. I doubt people here get panic knifed often either. People have a tendency to make threads after something lame happens to them in game.



You must hate all FPS games especially COD and BF3 then. There are a million players,so the fact people expect everybody to rush around makes me laugh. People have different skill levels. People who literally hide are my issue. People who use Assassin, or use silencers moving around the map are smart.

just cause you use rapid fire doesn't mean you will win everytime. There has been times where they running at me and I'm pumping bullets and walking back and still get the lunge and die. that's when I get pissed.

There is nothing wrong with the knifing...panic knifing however is the only "overpowered" thing in the CoD series...I think u have the wrong idea of what panic knifing really is, panic knifing is when you hit a corner and u immediately start getting shot at (screen turning red) & you somehow LUNGE 6 feet and get the kill.

Most of the time your player disappears & the killcam shows a HITMARKER after getting stabbed. Thats panic knifing...where instead of shooting, you knife...hoping to get that lunge animation.

Which is why you often see players try to knife you 10 ft away & 100% of the time you will hear them getting called noob for knifing when they panicked.
