Confirmed by users saying via in game message when firing up the multiplayer side of MW3, it is
now confirmed the first Double XP weekend is coming for Modern Warfare 3. This weekend will be the
set date for players to possibly hit that next prestige.
UPDATE: Robert Bowling just confirmed via Twitter that the double XP event will be for ALL platforms (Xbox, PS3, and PC)
and all playlists as well. Which means those who love Drop Zone and Infected can get in on the double XP rewards as well.
I unfortunately don't have any way to get the picture of the tweet (because I'm at work and not a personal laptop) but
I'll put thelink to Bowling's Twitter for you all to fish through to find it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How many are relieved and happy that all platforms will be getting double XP?
