(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, I was just wondering if anyone actually focused on how their W/L Ratio was?
I don't really care about the ratio per say, but I do enjoy winning more than losing.
And just because you lose doesn't mean you didn't do good, especially in Drop Zone, you can go 45-5 and still lose.
And my W/L ratio is always around 1.30 range.

What about you guys? What's your say on winning/losing and what's your ratio?

It's good to win but it is by no means a good description of what kind of player or how good the player is.
Winning is too heavily influenced on whether or not the person plays in a party or not or if they dashboard/sign off PSN.

I will say winstreak pretty much means shit. So many people dashboard to get 100+ winsteeaks yet their ration is under 1.

People who care about keeping a fabricated winstreak usually not team players and only play in parties for their benefit.

First of all I care about my win streak and I can certainly tell you I'm a team player. In fact I'm pretty much the whole reason my team wins, which probably explains why I also succeed at BF3. And secondly Prom actually doesn't matter. Didn't go to my high school prom and all I can say is thank that imaginary fairy in the sky that I didn't. What I did instead was crazy.

I do not care about W/L but I do care about keeping it above 1.0. It is currently 1.35 with a 103 streak from FFA.

My W/L is 3.1 and It's all good having a high k/d but if you have a low w/l it just shows your a killwhore and don't play Objectively, which are the worst players IMO.

kd and w/l certainly does not matter, at least to me.
i started mw3 and had a 3 kd once i got use to it, and i only play solo, i personally don't really care about stats but for some reason when you have a high kd, getting a bad game is somewhat irritating, for that reason i killed myself over 10,000 times by throwing semtex/c4 on the ground and dropped my kd to 0.85, that way i just felt more comfortable just messing around and using the worst setups imaginable, i have a 1 kd now, but does that really change the fact that i'm easily a 3-4 kd solo player?

my w/l is under 1 also, but it has nothing to do with playing solo or free for all, i just dont care if i leave a game at any moment, i also used to switch lobbies every game so i actually left the game as the game ended because i was impatient even though we won, actually if ffa was all i played, my w/l would be near perfect since i don't remember losing any ffa games unless the host dash/sign off.

and also, at least on ps3, you don't get a lose if you sign off, one of my friends does this so much and has a high w/l and streak, lol, it's stupid.

i didn't set this up or it would look a lot better since these are my actual last 10 previous games before this post when i last played yesterday.
but if i actually cared about stats would i really be at a 1 kd with a 50% win ratio playing like a "loner"?
some people like to work for stats, some people actually play just to play :dumb:

I don't care about k/d or w/l. Not because I suck but because it's just a number on my screen.

Cake is a lie
Why do people act as if having fun isn't possible if you have high kdr and w/l?

My w/l is over 2 because I play in parties with players who can play objectives and win. I play with people who play dmart and get kills. They don't triple cap fot no reason. It'd harder to get kills compared to jumping on flags anyway. If you can kill you can usually get flags.

My kdr is over 2 because I play in parties, improved from a scrub in COD4 til now, use highet Assault killstreaks with Hardlinr Pro and most of all... Most COD players are unorganized and suck or are too busy trying to quick scope even if they suck at it. I play to win, get kills and have fun. I despise when people that suck try to pretend garbage stats mean you're having fun anf actually being decent is bad.

I said people with super high win streaks yet low w/l ratio aren't team players usually. I know from playing with guys like that. They may try to capture onjectives but the minute you face a good team they will back out on you just to maintain a winstreak that is false. So if you have goid w/l and ratio then great. If you continuously back out to keep an obviously fake winstreak high then you are a liability.

Ig you purposely sabotage your stats then obviously what I said doesn't apply to you. I play with a guy who prestige hacked and got recent but he is good. There will always be a gray area with stats especially the winstreak boosting but people who act like their stats aren't an indicator of skill sre idiots. I'm not going yo take a guys word over what numbers say. Unless the numbers arw suspect.

Well, a low W/L doesn't necessarily mean you're a kill whore.
When I'm playing DZ I always go after the Objective and try holding it down, and in the process I get 30-40 kills per game.
However, I always play public matches, meaning I rarely ever play with a bud or a group of people, so we usually lose.
In the past week my W/L has gone from ~1.30 to 0.80, so I'm playing some Infected to get it back up to 1.30, just so I can have it look stable.
