Ive recently been taking a brake from COD to carm down and chill.
I have noticed on my current game (Max payne 3) which came out only a few weeks ago and got great reviews, that no one really actualy plays it?
Go on COD on any platform and will always be atleast 500,000+ players always on.
While on a generally brand new game that every review gives great scores to only has about 5,000 - 10,000 players max (taken from PS3 at UK time).
So im wondering does COD kill off other games (multiplayer wise) before people even really play it?
Try to think of many games that have 100,000+ players on them almost constantly (not halo or BF3), is COD with it 1,000,000 peopke online (most of the time) killing other multiplayer games?
Do you think COD has just doomed 90% of games before people have even tried there multiplayer to see what its like, because everyone is to busy playing COD?
Call of Duty is really only great for its online play and that is the only thing repetitive in COD. Obviously people are still going to be playing COD, but in terms of of everything else Cod is a marshmallow compared to GTA. Even thou they both are the biggest games in the decade, I'm more excited for GTA V then BO2 imo.

Haha, all games have to follow the same formula as Cod nowadays. Pretty sad if you ask me. Cod can keep the 15 year olds, I'll stick to single player games like I've been doing for the past 16 years.
yes it has, bf3 is fun and i can find matches, killzone3 is pretty much dying, homefront even though it was a fail oncod standards is dead, MAG is dead, idk about medal of honor
