Run FTP and navigate to hddo/game/your bles blus MW3 number

Find the first param.sfo file you find and extract it to your Desktop

Edit it with Hellcats sfo program which you can download from my thread You must login or register to view this content.
Once youve changed it to the current version (1.23) FTP it back to the folder.

Note that everytime you edit a param.sfo you will need to boot the game twice in order for it to make the necessary updates properly. So when you run MW3 after youve edited it, it will still ask you to install 1.23. Simply quit the game then run the disc again and itll read as 1.23 and wont ask for updates.

If you dont have a current MW3 map pack with Terminal you can download and install 1.22 pkg here

Boy ? im older then you sonny so dont try to be demeaning. I saluted you for your method, theres nothing wrong with it except it does for a fact take longer. I already had Terminal on my CFW so i just needed to update the version
