you dont have to strafe to it.
just get a medium waight wepon (tompson,ppsh-41) then when your ontop of the rock sprint jump to the base of the bounce rock.(to the left of the bit sticking out) and if you hit the right spot you will bounce. :P

so the weight of the wepon will effect how far you jump? Obviously none of the lmg's, but what about the rifles. Does it need to be a sub machine gun??
