I'm level 48 or something on the third level of prestige. I play a few times a week for a few hours at a time.

I played with a few friends against 6 guys who were all in much higher levels of prestige. The scores were like 45 and 6 for them and I did the best on our team at 8 and 15.

Then, later that night, I went 26 and 7 on Roundhouse and 35 and 13 on Dome.

My question is, are there people out there that are really that good? I think I'm about an average player. What am I doing wrong? And how do you go 45 and 6 on a map like Courtyard? I just don't get it.

If any of you guys are of the 45 and 6 variety, it would be great to chat with you to find out why I'm so f#$d up sometimes.

I think I have a couple of problems and just realized it last night.

I have been so worried about ranking up that I was using different weapons all the time to get the bonus points.

I realized that anyone can rank up just by playing alot, but the KD ratio really says more about how you play.

I started to think about what I like on each level depending on the type of match. Right now I have about 10,000 kills and 11,000 deaths. (I know that the difference is almost exactly 1,000). So my goal for the next couple of weeks is just to get even Steven.

I've realized lately that if you're not really motivated you don't play well. Also when you're like "damn we're gonna lose" you often get killed alot since you wouldn't be trying to win. Just keep trying and trying. And yeah, focus on 1-4 weapons at most. If you constantly use lots of weapons you won't be able to be good at one, you'll just be "decent" on lots of different guns which isn't really helpful since 4 guns could cover almost all maps in the game.
