Requirements:
Ps3 on 3.41 with jailbreak
PC
Usb memory stick

1. Download the map packs onto your Pc using the method below

2. Once you have the map packs on your pc you change the names of the file to something shorter like WAW MP3.pkg or something
3. Put the pkg's onto a usb memory stick
4. Jailbreak your ps3 with hermes v4b
5. Plug Usb in and go to install packages under the game tab
Finally install your map packs and then hack to your hearts concent and dont forget that when you data transfer to new ps3 you have to activate them by dl them of psn and then cancelling

To answer all the questions
1 you need to use the proxy gui on your 3.50 ps3
2 to download faster i used a thing called bitcomet it makes it much faster
3 PL3 is bullshit compared to hermes well for me anyway cos on PL3 you have to press on/off and eject at the exact right time

Use the Proxy Server GUI method this way works for all regions but problem is you have to have a PS3 on 3.50

Which Device do you have rockbox on cos i have it on my ipod mini 2g and whenever i want to change the payload i just put my ipod into usb mode by first pressing and holding SELECT + MENU buttons and then when the device turns off hold down SELECT + PLAY/PAUSE and then just change the rockbox.ipod file inside your rockbox folder on the root of your ipod

depends on what device you're using..
actually v3 is a lot more stable then Hermes (at least for now)
but hermes does the job
1 thing about it though:
i use the TI84, & sometimes it wouldn't JB when using the original software..
now i can start ps3 JB & put disc in, enable controller at same time, it'll still JB..
on previous PL I had to do one thing at a time..
but PL3 probably does the same thing

JB's probably just faster

same answer to both of you: if you are able to upgrade the software on your dongle, you should check if there's an update available for download somewhere..
if there is, check which payload it uses & if it's v3 or higher, you can install retail packages..
