I'm going to see if i can somehow get a playermenu on screen to decide who gets mods..
if i get it working, i'll release the code

You should add the private match to ranked match dvar so that people with crappy connection can do this as if you have to host in a ranked game it is near impossible
Here is a link to a patch that i know has a private to ranked code so if you could edit this one so that you get all attachments and challenges

and you cand edit pacth with legit stats please or awesome stats? but this stats are too big, when you go online and kill one your stats go to negative

don't forget, if you add the dvar for online match, you can't test in split, as enemies will forfeit
it always gives me error saying there's not enough players to continue the game.. :p

how you building the menu?
I'm working with hud for every playername, hud.settext is filled by a string, so i don't have to change hud, just the string to get a 'submenu'
