(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); is it just me or do you find silencing a weapon makes them less powerfull, whether its because their speed slows down or w/e. its just an mp40 with stoping power takes a guy down 3,4 hits, with its silenced i find i have to go nearly flat out to take out 1 guy.

i read that over 350m/s a silencer doesn't decrease the sound
so a STG 44 shoots with bullets that are faster than 350m/s (i think)
so you need to shoot with other bullets that are not so fast ( i don't know if its possible lol)
so it will decrease the damage in reality
but i don't think it decreases the damage in the game

if im wrong with the bullets thingy sry im under 15 years old lol

I used to always think that it made it weaker too. I don't know, I agree with the distance vs damage theory.

what the **** do u think range does it not only stops u shooting further away but does secrease strength, try it out

I see your point but, an MP40 silenced will do the same damage as an MP40 with no attachment at point blank range.

On the other hand if someone is across the map then you will not be able to kill the person as fast because of the range, not because the gun deals less damage. So a silencer has no direct effect on the damage

he is right, the range is decreased which in turn decreases the effectivness of a bullet half way across the map. fist of all, why are you using an MP40 TO SNIPE a guy across a map? XD just wondering.

Depends. If you are shooting from point blank then no problem. but from range it heavily decreases the power of suc guns like the mp40.

yeah that's right, because I was playing SnD on cliffside, and a guy on the other team really liked this one spot on the far side of the map. I had a silenced MP40 and killed him with 2 bullets from all the way across the map. I realy don't think it's distance vs damage
