(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); is it just me or do you find silencing a weapon makes them less powerfull, whether its because their speed slows down or w/e. its just an mp40 with stoping power takes a guy down 3,4 hits, with its silenced i find i have to go nearly flat out to take out 1 guy.
was just wondering

On the other hand if someone is across the map then you will not be able to kill the person as fast because of the range, not because the gun deals less damage. So a silencer has no direct effect on the damage

Bullets travel forever in COD, range has nothing to do with how far a bullet travels.
A MP40 with no attachment and a silenced MP40 do the same damage at point blank and at 3905820935832095 miles away. In fact they do the same damage at any distance except when the enemy is ~10-25 meters away.
Starting at 10 meters, the damage of the silenced MP40 decreases much faster than that of an MP40 with no attachment, but they even out again at 25 meters distance.
