it could of been just straight up luck ya know!

the game is programmed to only ALLOW 1 flamethrower out on the map at a time, it is a glitch

just happend to me and my friends 3 of us got it

EDIT-I was host and was messing with my lag switch...could that has messed the system screw up

Only one person can hold the flames at a time!! But... if the person holding the flames is down when you buy from the mysterybox, it reads that there isn't a flamethrower in game and puts it back in the box... So then your chances are pretty much the same of getting it as they normally would be!!
I haven't tried this myself but have seen it done once or twice!!

did it w/o one anyone down...we had my one friend with it until round 13....then my other friend got it and I got it right after him...a few rounds later I toldmy buddy to set his cam up as I ran to speed cola thinking there was a few zombies left...there wasnt and i died...

we all got the flamethrower and my other friend kept getting horrible guns

I've seen this done on the PS3 several times, but it's been patched on the XBOX. It doesn't even cycle the flamethrower when a person is downed, we tried it about 10 times and not once did it cycle through in the weapons.

It worked for us on xbox....like i said before though...i was host and I was turning my lag switch on/off a lot
