Do you have a Flash Drive USB? If so then google the download for GeoHots Custom Firmware, Download that, Open the file and Open the file that it at the very top, Inside should be a folder that says PS3 copy that to the root of the Flash Drive and then plug that into your PS3 go to system update> via storage media> then press okay, if nothing pops up then you have redo the stuff I just told you. Any question?

Okay, in the file that you downloaded, there should be a thing called FTP server or Blackbox, extract that onto your desktop or wherever then there should be a file with an extension .pkg put that on the root of your Flash Drive plug it into your PS3 go over to Install Package File under the Game option, click it, you should see a new file appear after it is done installing, Download FileZilla onto your computer, open the new file on your PS3 it should go to a black screen with some word like BlackBox 1.2 and then IP:192.168.x.xx. First find the patch that you want, I suggest downloading this : You must login or register to view this content. in there, there is a folder like WaW Patches, open the Filezilla on your computer and enter the IP address the Blackbox on your PS3 says as host, and for the username put FTPD123456 and no pass just press enter, then it should connect, these are all the files on your PS3, find HDD0>Game> and I think its should be like Blus301 or thats all you can see, go into that find USDIR and take the patch you selected off your desktop and put it in there. Hope this made sense at all, ask me questions if you have any.

You can if you didn't update using 3.55 CFW, thats the only way you get your Via storage media option taken away if the 3.55 CWF. He already Jailbroke it so yeah.
