ok, i have two quick questions, when i open the .pkg file on my ps3, the screen goes black and says "its Geohot sup dawg" i thought at first it didnt give me the ip address since i wasnt signed in, so when i tried to sign in online, a message said i needed to update the ps3 to 3.56, at this point i remember that u said this might cause problems so wut do i do from here?

Okay well at least you jailbroke it right, but you didn't install the right .pkg file. It should be UP0001-BB0011111_00-0000111122223333.pkg
Install that, then it will give you open it, that will give you the IP.

And no you cant do homebrew on 3.56 he is using 3.55 still.

Oh, btw there is a thing to where you dont have to update.
Go to network settings> Internet connection Settings> Custom> Go through like normal until you get to the DSN option go to custom, or use just not the default option, enter these numbers for both primary and secondary : 67.202.81.137
There you go. Now you can sign in.

wow pretty good thnx, i have a problem, i already installed the new .pkg and ip on the filezilla and username and all except when i put connect it says "Connection attempt failed with ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server" and right now i am using a modem back and forth connecting my ps3 and pc, does the ps3 have to be online aswell as the pc when i push connect???

Yes the ps3 has to be online, I will try to find a tutorial for you to use Awesome File Manager. Gimme a second.

Yeah, there is DEREKTROTTERS, Mossys, pretty much all of them, you just have to force host. sorry for my late reply.
