Problem is those files in the COD5 game saves are encrypted. But, I also found out how Xbox360 users modded COD5. Xbox360 users use programs such as CoD Tool to mod the GAMESAVE.SVG file. I compared the layout of the game saves to find that the Xbox360 game save GPAD0_XX files are also encrypted, thus why modding tools edit the SAVEGAME.SVG file. But now my question is this..... why isn't there a program to mod the SAVEGAME.SVG file on a PS3. From the basic look of it, if it can be done on an Xbox360 then it can be done on a PS3. Has no one made one yet. Or is it Just it impossible. BTW i only want to mod SINGLEPLAYER campaign and zombies just to have some fun. and don't just say it's impossible atleast give me a better understanding of WHY thnx

you don't know what your talking about it can be modded the people who did codtool just didn't want to make it work with ps3 cuz their 360 fanboys and PS3 haters but after the work they did on it for 360 it wouldn't be that hard for them to do a ps3 one.

i cant get it to work on xbox cos the pc wont pick up the xbox hdd.
you'd think it would be easier on ps3 cos you can just stick it on a usb and transfer it over no problem.
if any one know how to do it on ps3 pls let know

There are no mods for ps3. I'm glad there are none too. With mods we would have a bunch of snot nose British/Scottish/12 year old/Irish people coming here writing a cry baby thread about something to do with "goddamned cheatas" and when you open it it looks like someone made a puzzle out of the thread. Basically, no mods for ps3 is a great thing, it would save so many Americans time and a headache.

There probably COULD be mods for ps3, if someone figured out how to decrypt the files.....

So your basically saying that americans don't hack or cheat. Mate what world are you living in? Your making it sound like americans are inperior to everyone. Hacking a game is always possible however it takes a very strong mind to be able to create/find out how. The person who created the xBox program mustn't have a PS3 or must find it easier to hack xBox
