Overview
Ever Since it was confirmed that these two guns had upgraded versions ("The Eviscerator" and "The Snuff Box") people have been excited to get the Type 99 from the Mystery Box and upgrade it, But no one has been able to recieve it no matter how hard they've tried from the box. Then many people noticed that the sawnoff shotgun has disappeared from the map, making people want to aquire that also.

Plausible Theories
So far the only theory that seems like it could possibly work is that once you activate the Flytrap and complete the challenge (locating and shooting the 2 teddy bears and 1 monkey bomb) these weapons will appear in the Random Box and become obtainable, but to no avail the people that tried this still have not gotten these items.*I AM NOT SAYING THIS WILL WORK I HAVE TRIED THIS MANY TIMES AND IT HAS NOT*

Misconceptions
The Fly trap has more than 3 items to shoot to finish
WRONG there are only 3.
-The Flytrap(Die Glocke or The Bell in English) has 8 items that fly around which are.
-Two(2) Teddy bears
-One(1) Monkey Bomb
-One(1) Juggernog soda bottle
-One(1) Pack-A-Punch'ed Colt
-One(1) Molotov Cocktail
-One(1) Grenade
-One(1) A Bowie Knife
The Teddy Bears and Monkey Bomb are holding these items so that leaves you with only 3 things to shoot to complete the Flytrap.

A Teddy Bear/Monkey Bomb on the moon

There is no Teddy Bear/Monkey Bomb on the moon.

You have to shoot the teddy bear that makes the shadow on the wall

theres only 2 teddies and one monkey bomb cus originally they wanted those challenges to be the actual achievement but they thought it was too hard so they simplified it and still left it in there. what if there is another secret switch to shoot to get the type 99 or at least other things to shoot. like right next to the switch theres a lot of crap on the floor

I really do not think that there is such guns in this map. Thats the answer. And all people saying that they have seen it, how about a picture? Didn't think so.

I had a thought last night.

What if we need to activate ALL easter eggs within the map for the Type 99 to appear?

That would mean the song (3 glowing jars), ALL radio transmissions (3 walkies, 4 radios) and the Flytrap mini-game (Window, Cage, Furnace) need to be activated before you can get either weapon.

It's an unconfirmed thought.

well not to be rude but there is def more easter eggs than you just said wethere they can be activated i am not sure but there are alot of easter eggs in here

Ive tried activating every thing and trying it but I still couldnt get either. Treyarch should tell us how to do it if we dont find out soon. Or tell us if we cant.

Ive looked everywhere to try and find something like that :/ I bet there is one and when you shoot it it opens up to a room with the type and shotgun on the wall haha.
