Is this maybe the games way of trying to keep it fair for us by making sure you at least have enough points to grab a quivck weapon when you come back?

I plan on trying it later today, unless somebody has beaten me to it already and cares to post their results.

yea it always happens to me after a certain round. it doesn't work on the lower rounds though

This happened to me since Shi No Numa.

Oh sorry, I hadn't noticed this til this map. I remember on older maps having to fight to get enough points just to get a Thompson off the wall after dying.
