Is this maybe the games way of trying to keep it fair for us by making sure you at least have enough points to grab a quivck weapon when you come back?

Yep this is true this happends to me and my friends all the time when we have under 1500ish points and die.

this happened to me twice and i do think it is the game helpin you out. also some times wen i get the hammer pick-up every one gets like 200 points i think but only some time

Yes, if you die with under 1500 points, when you respawn, the game bumps you up to 1500 points.

You get points if yuo are dead and come back the next. Dunno if how many points you have when you die affects it. Lol, it's pity points.

well if u have low points and a good gun from mystery then i almost allways get 1500 wen i die
